  • Reporting Violations: Reviews intended to report violations of our Terms of Service should not be submitted through the review system. Instead, please contact us directly if you believe a server is in violation.
  • No Replies to Other Reviews: The review system is not a forum for discussion. Do not use reviews to reply to, support, or attack the reviews of others. For discussions, please use our community forums.

Review Category Definitions

RateMyMMO’s default ranking system orders servers by total score, from highest to lowest. The total score is the sum of all individual review scores for a server. Below are the categories used in reviews, with explanations:

  • Server – Stability: Reflects how often the server crashes or freezes. A higher rating indicates fewer crashes and a more stable environment.
  • Server – Availability: Measures how often the server is online and accessible. A higher rating means the server is up and running more consistently.
  • Community – Friendliness: Rates how welcoming and helpful the server community is. A higher score indicates a more friendly and cooperative player base.
  • Community – Eventfulness: Evaluates how frequently the server hosts events. A higher score suggests that the server regularly engages players with events like tournaments, races, or special in-game activities.
  • Gamemasters – Friendliness: Assesses the demeanor of the game masters (GMs). A higher rating means the GMs are friendly and fair in their interactions.
  • Gamemasters – Availability: Indicates how often GMs are available to provide support. A higher rating means GMs are frequently online and responsive.
  • Gamemasters – Helpfulness: Measures how effectively GMs assist players with questions and issues. A higher rating suggests that GMs are knowledgeable and willing to help.
  • Gameplay – Economy: Rates the balance of the server’s economy. A lower rating may indicate issues such as inflation or a lack of valuable trade, while a higher rating reflects a well-balanced economy.
  • Gameplay – Guild Competition: Assesses the level of competition between guilds. A higher rating indicates a competitive but balanced guild environment, while a lower rating suggests dominance by one or few guilds.
  • Gameplay – Class Balance: Measures the balance of character classes and skills. A higher rating means that the server allows for a variety of effective builds without any class or skill being overpowering.
